2D Shapes Matching to Real Life Objects: Self Correcting Shape Sort

Wednesday, July 11, 2018

Shapes are everywhere, and our littles love finding them. This sort helps students match real objects to the shapes they look like, and checks itself.

This 2D shape matching activity has students sort real life objects onto the shape they look like: circle, square, triangle, diamond, rectangle, and oval. Laminate the pages, add velcro dots, and the answer key makes it self checking, so students can work on their own.
